Date: 01/02/2017

I did not want to leave my hometown even after marriage says Aparna our bride with very strong native instincts. Read on to find out how her wish came true.

Hello everyone I am Aparna and my husband’s name is Arvind. Ours is an arranged marriage. The one and only condition I told my parents who were in search of a groom was I don’t want to leave my hometown. I am from Karur. I love my town and didn’t want to move out of it because of marriage. My parents were extremely understanding and looked out for my groom only in Karur. Soon I found my dreams coming true. It was through my parents I met Arvind. He runs a textile business in Karur. I was completely satisfied even before I met him. It so happened that Arvind also had the same condition. So meeting him only made it better. We first met at my house. We spoke to each other and then confessed our feelings to our parents. Our families then spoke about our wedding dates and we were soon engaged. I was extremely happy about the fact that, the house that I am going to be in for the rest of my life is only one and a half kilometers away. This was definitely a dream come true.

For my wedding shopping we went to Kanchipuram and I found both my reception and muhurtham saree in A S Babu Sah. My reception jewels were from TARA and Sumangali Jewellers in Coimbatore and muhurtham jewellery were from BigShop in Ooty, Sumangali Jewellers in Coimbatore and Ganesh  Jewellery in Karur. My husband’s suit was from Gabbana Life in Chennai. The first event for our wedding was nal virundhu for which I wore a saree from Varamahalakshmi Silks in Kanchipuram. Our wedding décor was by Happening Decors in Erode. They did a splendid job. We really loved the look of the stage. For photography we had two photographers one for candid by IFotos - Photography and the other for traditional by Singapore Photography. My mehendi was by Yeshoda from Teen Parlour, Karur. My make up was by Vani from Salon Manthra and blouses were by @mantra-the-design-studioclothing# in Coimbatore. I must give credits to Shopzters for helping me find the best in the market according to my tastes and preferences. Right from jewellery to makeup to blouse designs to even finding the garlands Shopzters did it all. A big thanks to them.

Our honeymoon was in Tamara Resorts in Coorg the Zuri Resorts in Kumarakom and finally in Valparai Stanmore Banglow. All the three locations were really nice and must see places.
