A Chetan Bhagat Style 2 States Wedding Story

Ever heard of a Konkani-Himachali wedding? What!? Never? No, we aren’t surprised. Nikita and Rishikesh hail from different parts of the country. Here Nikita tells us the story of their interstate wedding.

My husband is a Himachali while I hail from a Konkani background. My name is Nikita and my husband's is Rishikesh. We were classmates in 6th grade. But then I had to shift from Chennai to Mumbai. We parted ways before we realized our love for each other. But hold on this was not a full stop to our budding love story. It was just a comma.

We've known each other on and off since then. I came back to Chennai after 3 long years and this was when things started taking a serious turn. We confessed our love but destiny had a complete different game plan. I went to Australia for higher studies and Rishi got a job in Canada but this time the separation only brought us closer.

Though we are different in many ways, there has always been an unseen string of love which ties the two of us. Slowly, the long distance relationship managed to wave its magic wand. I found Rishi on his knees formally proposing to me with the RING to spend the rest of our lives together and guess what? I said 'Yes!'

Now here we are! Celebrating each and every moment of our Love Story which will soon transform into a Wedding Story. The basic idea for all our functions was to bring both our family's cultures together.

Our photographers said that it's always fun to shoot a couple that is so much in 'LOVE' with each other that you yourself would like to fall in 'LOVE' once again. Come be a part of it!
