A Colourful And Dreamy Telugu Wedding That Is The Absolute Trendsetter!

A typical arranged marriage of two hearts, this wedding story speaks of how a bride of 20 got married to her prince charming while people kept saying that it was too early for her to enter into the wed-lock already. Despite all of that, the couple made it and now have been called by many as “couple goals”. Let’s hear it from our beautiful bride herself as she takes us through her beautiful wedding journey.

“The wedding was destined to be on the 14th and 15th of November 2017. We had six events including the wedding. Four pre-weds and the reception and the wedding as such.

The first event was the Nalugulu. It was a very simple affair with just close family, women to be precise. It is a ritual where all married women bless me with their best of regards for a happy and well-being. I wore a white saree, that is similar to the one that women from Kerala wear with golden borders and the like.

For the second Nalugulu, which was a pretty grand one, I wore a tri-coloured silk saree from @prakashsilksandsarees#, Kanchipuram. Makeup for the event was by Shivu from Bangalore. He happens to be a celebrity makeup artist who has adorned many film stars with his skill of flawless makeup and hairstyling.

We had a haldi later in which I had to repeat the same saree I wore on the first Nalugulu as part of the ritual. My relatives have maintained a colour code of that of yellow.

The other event was the mehndi in which I wore a black T-shirt with a quote ‘Bride’ on it and for my bridesmaids, the quote ‘Bride’s Tribe’ on a grey T-shirt was imprinted.

For the reception I wore a magenta shaded lehenga from Mysore Silk Udyog, Bangalore. He wore a blue Jodhpuri suit from P.N Rao. Makeup again was by Shivu and trust me everyone complimented me, saying that I looked like a doll.

Photography was by @pixas-studios-by-photriya#. Their services were too good and met all our expectations. Venky from Photria, based in Hyderabad was also there. Pixas is a franchisee of Photriya and their services were just awesome.

Decorations were by Elegant Decors, Bangalore.Catering was by SCS Catering. We had a separate mocktail counter, a variety of chat, ice creams, pizzas, pastas and burgers. Everyone loved them and we received a lot of compliments.

My diamond choker and earrings were from @navrathan-jewellers#.

For the Muhurtham I wore a golden silk saree from @tulsi-silks-1#, Chennai. My blouse was designed by Needle Eye, Bangalore. They did a detailed peacock design and that was really very pretty. His Dhothi and shirt were from Cholas, Bangalore.I wore 3 diamond necklaces and diamond jhumkas, all from @navrathan-jewellers# as well.

I usually don’t express much but my husband is the best person I’ve met till date. He means a lot to me and also takes care of me like a little baby. I know I’m not the perfect wife but he is the perfect husband that I could ask for. Trust me that I will prove to him that I will be the perfect wife that he has always wanted.
