A Dream Wedding Of A Couple After Thirteen Strong Years Of Being In A Relationship

A Dream Wedding Of A Couple After Thirteen Strong Years Of Being In A Relationship

Like every other girl dreams about her wedding,I also carried my dreams along and wanted to make it a perfect “Dream Wedding” says Madhura

They say matches are made in heaven and I strongly believe that our match was made way earlier there. 13 beautiful years of love…! What more could I ask for, life has brought me that perfect match, that one soul who stood by me no matter what. And when the time has arrived to make our dreams turn to reality, it needs a perfect planning in making it a “Dream wedding”.

The story started 13 years ago when we met as neighbors and later I realised Arvind was my senior in school. Our moms were close friends and we used to hang out and were crazy about playing video games. Slowly we became best of friends. Once we started talking, we found that we had a whole lot in common and started getting closer and closer as the time passed.

During our high school days, I realised he had a crush on me but I keep quiet. During the summer vacations when I was in 8th grade he finally gathered his courage and proposed to me on my house terrace and I immediately accepted and confessed I loved him too. The dreamy thing about the whole thing was we could hear the evening prayer bells ringing from the nearby temple.

After 3 years of dating once we started collage like every other love story we too had our ups and downs. We took a break to give each other some space. It was during my first year of college that Arvind called on Valentine's Day and we landed up talking throughout the night till 7am next morning. It felt like we tried to make up for the whole year that we had not spoken to each other. People say you get bored with being in a relationship together for a longer time, but everyday seems to be a new day for us.

This time we were more mature and commited as we had realised that we could not stay without each other and deeply felt only we could complete each other. After our graduation, both of us decided to take up our passion for photography as a career and started Madphic Artistry.  A few years of friendship turned out to be love and our never-ending love for each other led us to where we stand now as MR.& MRS.

In 2014 December we officially got engaged.I was the most excited bride one could ever find. The journey started with creating my very own customized wedding planning book, I planned out the wedding celebrations in details and began shopping accordingly.

For my Reception, I wore a lehenga designed by Anita Dongre and my sangeet gown was from shades Mumbai. The traditional wedding saree for the muhurtham was from @prakashsilksandsarees# Kanchipuram.

All my makeup was done by @makeup-by-vejetha-anand#. She did an amazing job with the beautification and gave me flawless radiant look.

It was now time to shop for the groom. Starting from customizing the tiny detail of the groom’s cufflinks with our initials engraved on it. Arvind got his murtham outfit customized from samayakk and got his reception tuxedo designed perfectly to complement with my lehangha from P N Rao.

When it came to my wedding card for the family, I wanted it to be simple, artistic, creative and elegant with a touch of tradition & whereas wanted a very colorful invite for friends.

Being Photographers ourselves, it was challenging and exciting to find another artist to capture our special moments. And we are glad that we found @sunil-emmar# a Hyderabad based photographer, who did a commendable job framing each and every moment to its perfection. They say you have everything when you have crazy friends.I have both crazy friends and crazy cousins and together they hosted an amazing bachelorette party.

My bridesmaids made the perfect sangeet dance team. The girls rehearsed for 10 days before the wedding and the guys finally turned up for practice 2 days before the sangeet. The sangeet was a colourful event as planned, the girls danced with at most grace and the guys stole the show as they finally danced. We also had a lot of moments in our wedding that we can look back and laugh at.  The audience had an amazing time and laughed and cheered us all the way. The best part of the sangeet was our couple dance. All the efforts to make the groom dance resulted in a grand success.

Then came the D day on 22 May 2015 we officially became Husband and wife.Like every bride I was very conscious about my looks, weight, dresses and everything. But I maintained my calm and took things one by one. The day started with Gauri pooja and then the Murtham took place which was a typical South Indian one and other rituals followed. We had our reception on the same day evening and it was a grand affair the red and pink lehenga made me look every bit a true bride.

We then planned our post wedding shoot in Mahabalipuram and various other locations. The sunset and the setting was perfect to give the shoot a very dreamy romantic effect.
