From exchanging rings by a beach to a traditional Telugu wedding #sidni have got their entire wedding on a roll!

Nikitha and Siddhartha studied in the same college at Illinois. Her mom met Sid’s mom at a get together! It wasn’t until her mom mentioned about Sid, she began chatting with him on Facebook! She was inclined towards him from the beginning but was reluctant to accept the fact or how fast the things were going, but Sid was unaware of this! He tried harder to win her heart! Slowly and steadily, after a couple of conversations and sweet nothings on calls, she was comfortable enough to meet him in person. And then the boy flew down to the NYC! ?

They went to dine with the wine at the House of ‘Que restaurant where there was a live band playing to the most beautiful backdrop! The New York skyline! Oh yeah, that’s one place this pretty girl loves the most supposedly! What a perfect evening indeed! Everything on point, and Sid couldn’t resist but simply go down on a knee and propose! All that Nikitha could say was a big “Yes”.

Followed by this was informing the families, and an engagement at the Pass a Grille beach in a Christian wedding style, with a beautiful white and pink decor! Now that’s nothing less than a scene just out of a movie! They exchanged personally handwritten vows which made them emotional because that just brought back all those tiny little memories and one whole of a relationship they’ve been in! The bride to be was dressed in an off-shoulder sweetheart neckline dress from David’s Bridal and the groom to be wore a crisp and clean cut suit from Saks 5th Avenue.

Nikitha, also had a fun bachelorette party with her girl gang in Venetian hotel, Vegas. They had a pool party and hit the night clubs in a limo where they danced all night till they dropped their heels! She mentions how they took a pole dancing class for fun. Now, that’s something!? She says her girls turned her bachelorette into one hell of a memory for a lifetime!

The couple then flew to India for their wedding! They had a traditional Telugu wedding with haldi, pelli kuthuru / Pelli koduku, mehendi, wedding ceremony and reception. The bride used different makeup artists to have a different look for every ceremony. She was seen sporting a yellow saree for haldi morning and then later in the afternoon, walks the bride into the venue with a big smile, in a beautiful handwoven golden orange and pink saree all the way from Kandha Swamy store, with delicately detailed jewellery! To compliment to this, was the traditional backdrop done to perfection by Taamara Taamara. Kudos to their team for mastering in perfection and the utmost care taken in the finishing and tiniest details put together! Then the couple had a pool side Rajasthani mela themed colourful mehendi night! #sidni have been one of the most cheerful and energetic couple to have danced gracefully all through the night, with all their near and dear ones! During the wedding Nikitha wore an exceptionally pleasant lavender saree hand picked from the A.S.Babu shah, Kanchipuram. Sid, was seen in a golden beige differently designed sherwani by Varun Chakkilam to colour coordinate his girl’s saree! For her reception she opted for a grand red ball gown by Gaurav Gupta while the groom wore a black Tuxedo by Hugo Boss. @Vijayeesam along with his amazing team covered all the events for photography and videography, capturing each and every precious moments of love laughter and happiness!

Nikitha mentions how she had a time constraint to shop through her 5 weeks trip to India, and how shopzters helped her shortlist her vendors. She also mentions how her mom was her pillar of support and personal stylist from picking her outfits to jewellery, parallely handling the whole wedding thing! She also extends a big thanks to her dearest friend Pooja Shetty for fulfilling all her duties like a perfect bridesmaid and handling all the chaos, stress and a lot of other things around her during this whole trip!

Tips for the train of events: She took care of herself by staying hydrated, sleeping well inspite of lacking that time to diet. She remarks how, happy brides are the prettiest! She advices the brides to be to look after their food, skin and hair to look their best on their big day.

The couple are planning to spend their honeymoon soon in Maldives. We from Shopzters wish the couple a happy married life and only best things life has to offer!
