The Wedding Of Chennai's Designer Jeevitha Of DSignD

The Wedding Of Chennai's Designer Jeevitha Of DSignD

Jeevitha of Dsignd was married to Sakthivel at a happy set up on the 19th of February 2018 in Chennai. Her wedding was a pretty set up that needs no comparisons. Let's hear it from the beautiful bride herself who takes us through her wedding details.

"We had three events prior to the wedding. We had a Mehndi, a Nalungu, the muhurtham and the reception.

For the Mehndi I wore a lehenga skirt and a blouse which was designed at @dsignd#.

For the Nalungu the saree was from @tulsi-silks-1# and the blouses were designed at @dsignd# again.

For the muhurtham, the saree was a traditional koorai pattu and the first saree that I wore was my mother's wedding saree.

Sakthivel's silk essentials were again designed by me at @dsignd#.

For the reception I wore a gown and he wore a Jodhpuri suit whilst both were designed at @dsignd#.

All my jewelry were from @vbj# and GRT.

For the mehndi and nalangu, my makeover and hairstyling was done by Ace Studios, ECR.

Makeover essentials for the muhurtham and reception were done by @bronzer-bridal-makeup-artist#. She made me look so beautiful and she sure did an amazing job.

Photography needs for all the events were taken care of by @arun-titan-studio#. Since he was a very good friend of mine, it was easier for me to work with him and get things done at the earliest and easiest possible time-frame.

Decoration purposes for the mehndi and nalungu were by @marriage-colours#. They also made some super pretty garlands for our nalungu as well.

The whole experience was wonderful. It was indeed a joy to work for my own wedding and design dresses for me, my husband and for the whole family as well. It took a lot of time, was quite a toll but at the end it is worth it all.

Our honeymoon was pretty exciting. Two extremes of places. One was in the Maldives, a leisure stay and a bundle of private moments. The second one as a birthday surprise to Singapore, a more adventurous, family get together kind of a thing.
