Hosting a photo shoot, bringing out the amazing side of our South Indian women who also sport a great deal of entrepreneurship is no easy deal. Four successful women from three different fields came together in making this event a memorable one.
Steffhy Antony, a makeup artist based in Coimbatore, Nikithaa Kumaran, the photographer and Supriya and Anitha from Nadiya Design Studio, joined hands in initiating and exhibiting this event that was solely dedicated and created for the women entrepreneurs in Coimbatore. Let’s hear it from the ladies who have so much to tell us about the event.
“While we were looking for models for the shoot, we thought we could use real women who could pull off the vivid reality of being a strong woman. We made use of a couple of my friends who were also brides I worked with before along with few other entrepreneurs. We broke all clichés and went about with this photo-shoot. It was more of a saree based, Indo-westernized photo shoot and I loved working with every single one of them. Also, after looking at the pictures from the shoot many young girls wanted to participate in any event that was coming up” says @steffhy-antony#.

“As the photographer of the project, when Steffhy contacted me, with no second thoughts I said yes. Since I’ve been wanting to work on an all women’s team for a really long time I thought I should give this a shot. Working with Steffhy and Nadiya Studio has been a one of a kind experience and I couldn’t have asked for a better team to work with. Needless to say that we’ve definitely established the fact that when women support each other miracles happen. I cannot wait to get back to the city and start doing more shoots with them” rejoiced Nikithaa Kumaran.
