Everything has beauty, but not everyone sees it. Bringing this concept to weddings, Karthik R Yadav, a finalist in The HINDU Shutterbug Contest, has made a mark for himself in the wedding photography scenario with his tremendous hard work and enthusiasm. Pleased to feature "Yadhu Photography" as the photography of the month. yadhu2 Colours, natural scenaries and fashion photographs attracted him even as a child and he used to collect pictures of them very often. Little did he know that this fascination for colours and subtle silhouettes, will, in the future transform him into a candid photographer! yadhu1 His passion for photography grew during his Engineering days. While working in a company, he was instrumental in initiating the Chennai Trekking Club. This was when he bought his first SLR. yadhu4 More than landscape and architecture, he is interested in people and macro photographs and that was how he landed with a plum offer as a photographer for a wedding. From then on, there have been a slew of weddings and there has been no looking back! yadhu5 He affirms that in candid photography, every second counts! A photographer cannot lose even a fraction of a second for the fear of missing out on emotions. A self- taught photographer, he avers that at the end of the day, what is important is the output and all photographers strive towards it. yadhu3 Some clients are beauty personified and would give importance to looks; for others, it might be emotions; and for still others family portraits hold great importance. Hence a photographer has to meet the entire family and ultimately fulfill their desires. yadhu6 Karthik He perfectly balances both work and photography. He has indeed come a long way from when he started wedding photography in 2010. He concludes saying At the end of the day, I should be satisfied with my work.
