The Bollywood Romance Followed By An Extravagant Wedding!
We bet none of you have forgotten Leelu and her engagement blouse ever since we featured her on our engagement diaries. Her engagement had an authentic flavour and traditional touch to everything. And the chirpy Leelu is married now and we were all ears to know every detail of her Sangeet and Wedding. Leelu is one of those girls with beauty with brains and after seeing the pictures we are sure her wedding would be the talk of the town. Long story short about Pavan and Leelu's Bollywood romance.
“I met Pavan when he came to India for his sister’s wedding (Jan 2015). We had good vibes from the start and we had been in touch via texts after he left. Later in June we had a formal meeting at my aunt's place when I went to do a course in New York. We liked each other, both the families also felt we would make a good pair and the dates were set immediately. We got engaged in Feb and tied the knot on Aug 7th 2016.
How did you plan for your wedding and what all fun you had while planning?
Everything related to our wedding was well planned. Pavan got his ethnic wear custom made from Kadambini boutique. He ordered when he was there in Hyderabad for the engagement. We kind of tried to match our outfits and complement each other! One of my favourites is our Sangeeth attire, the black and white. I got my outfits matched with my jewellery and vice versa. We just wanted our guests to enjoy all the events and ceremonies as much as we did!! A cheerful, colourful and beautiful wedding with loads of fun :-) I will any day thank parents and give them the credits for the way all the functions happened.

Decorator: Anjan agarwal ( arranged 58 paintings that I have made as one of the backgrounds. They made the place look colourful with the props and decor. Orchid and pearl garlands were given to the guests to have a tag for themselves. As I was born during sankranti festival I wanted to have kites all over the venue. There was a live bangles counter, parrot reader, Rajasthani dancers along with kachhi goodies and stilt walker.
Sangeet:
Venue: Taj Krishna , The grand ballroom
Bridal outfit: Shriya som - Angasutra . Kamini helped me in choosing the outfit and I got it completely customised. I call it a fairy-tale dress and Shriya Bhupal team did a great job. (Dress weighs 6.7 kg)
Groom outfit: Suit - Hugo Boss, belt - Louis Vuitton, Shoes - Ruosh
Jewellery: Mahalaxmi
Makeup: Zing Siro
Decorator: Aata Sandeep - The complete event was organised by him, which included decor, choreography, short films and coordination and I must say, it was a grand success!
Wedding/Reception:
Venue: Novotel HICC
Bride outfits: Sarees - VRK Silks. All the blouses are self-designed. Wedding blouses has the 'Suryavanka'(sun) and Chandravanka(moon) motifs, work done with zardosi and stones. They matched it to the jewellery given by my grandmother.
Groom outfits: Dhoti and Sherwani - Kadambini boutique. Suit - Hugo Boss. Shoe - Ruosh. Belt - Mont Blanc
Jewellery: TBZ, Malabar and GRT
Makeup: Zing Siro(Siro makeup studio). Zing did an amazing job and made me look beautiful. I totally trust her work.

Every couple who would love to cherish all their wedding moments should opt for Manvi. She captures them beautifully without even noticing it in between all the chaos. She is more like a friend to us now and we must admit that we are awestruck looking at our pictures.

Her health and beauty regime included normal diet and her daily dose of green tea. She skipped makeup on most of the days so that her skin can breathe. She had regular walks to keep herself fit.
