Holiday The Blue And Green Way at Bali!

Meet Charanya Ramesh, the CEO of Shakthi Tours and Travels! With a Degree in Tourism & Travel Management and a certification from over ten government approved Tourism Programs, Charanya has travelled the world passionately. She has spent time exploring many cultures and cuisines, attending glamorous parties and visiting historical sites and hence offers travellers the very best of experiences. Today, she shares about her memorable trip to Bali! Every time I ended up watching 'Eat Pray Love' where Julia Roberts walks into a villa which looks nothing lesser than paradise surrounded by the lush green nature, I instantly want to transport myself to this Destination that I was highly intrigued about and boom there I was at BALI (isn't that the perks of being in the travel business? ;)

The three things you can no way miss in Bali are the Beaches, Greenery and Nightlife!! Hence to enjoy them in abundance I would definitely recommend nothing less than 1 week in this lil paradise of Indonesia...Be it a Honeymoon couple, a family, a bunch of friends or a Conference meet- there is so much for everyone to find their interests here... Hence I started off my travel agent duty by visiting some of the hotels I can put up my clients and be rest assured they are close to nature in every way.. Here are few of my suggestions:

Accommodation in Bali- Kuta:

kuta bali

Here's the place to stay if being around the buzz is what you prefer be it shopping or nightlife.... The beaches around here are busy during the day with loads of 3/4/5 star options available and since Bali is not pre-dominantly a very expensive destination I would say stick to a 4 or 5 star option of Stay with my top suggestion being the Sheraton Kuta which has an amazing ocean view with the perfect lobby and rooms. Hotel options could vary from Discovery karthika plaza, Ramayana,Aston Kuta, Ramada, Bali Dynasty, Stones by Marriott and many more... Nusa Dua:

About 20 mins away from the main area of Kuta, Nusa Dua is a preferred option for many travellers who would like quieter beaches and a additional pinch of luxury from hotel options like Grand Hyatt, Westin, Nusa Dua, W, Ritz Carlton and some semi luxury hotels which offer great deals like Ayodya, Grand Nikko and Grand Mirage. If luxury to you means cutting away from the real world- book yourself at the Bulgari resort or Alila in Uluwatu at their private pool ocean villa where Luxury has no limit and be rest assured to get pampered beyond imagination... Ubud:

One hour from the Central Bali and you arrive at the beautiful location which is a blend of the traditional and modern Bali... Choosing a right villa here is all what you need to do and hands down my pick would be the Pita Maha resort or the Komeneka and we ensure to book our clients in the private pool villa which opens up the green country side making you feel closest to nature... A host of resorts from the Four seasons, Kupu Kupu , Alila Ubub and many more can leave you wanting to settle here for life. Once you have decided your perfect picks on the accommodation don't forget the host of experiences and activities in Bali are endless-hence we at Shakthi tours and travels ensure we understand the nature of our clients and tie them up to experiences which they will remember forever... Let me list our top 10 things to do in Bali:

Top ten things to do in Bali: 1: Tanah lot temple

As you tighten the life jacket on yourself you feel the thrill gush from within. This activity is guaranteed fun from rowing across to jumping under the waterfalls to sudden tilts with your raft.

Some stunning illusions, colourful costumes and variety of acts from dances, acrobatics and singing you get an insight into the beautiful Indonesian culture as you witness this beautiful performance though a One and half hour duration.

10: Sea food in Jimbaran Since you are in the ultimate beach destination, walk along the Jimbran bay if you are a seafood lover for some of the best catches of fishes, squids, crabs and lobsters as you find a place among the many of the candle lit tables on the beach. it's perfect!

Entertainment & Nightlife: Finally one can never let the nights in Bali passing by without catching up with the Buzz of the nights at the many spots. Legian is hands-down the place to be in and from my experience you could go there every night and find every kinda party you want to be at from Techno to hip hop and commercial to Raggae or live Bands. I happened to visit this club called Sky Garden and boi that is definitely the place to be- 8 night clubs under one roof happening till 5 in the morning and will leave you just wanting for more. Ensure not to miss out on checking out the Rock bar in Ayana resort and KuDeTa for an evening drink.
