It was a bright summery Friday morning and what better day to celebrate Archana’s baby shower than that! As the sun shone through the delicate yellow petals of the marigold flowers, the guests started trickling into the venue whose old wooden furniture, bookshelves, Victorian-style settees and pillars just brought about a unique and peculiarly beautiful Indo-British old world charm! The Team at @the-event-tale# chose yellow and orange marigold to be the perfect backdrop for the Valakaapu ceremony!

The guests were welcomed by a beautiful floral entrance arch in a combination of orange and yellow marigold with a gold lotus frame with tiny marigold flowers in the backdrop. A stunning half and half yellow-orange floral wall with tightly knit marigold strings topped with strings of semmangi with Pachai Kili leaf art served as the main focal point of the entire decor. The pillars were also decked up in the same theme. One of the main elements of Luz House is a magnificent tree on which Team TET hung delicate strings of marigold with pink danglers at the ends, to match Archana’s Valakaapu saree.
Archana was 8 months pregnant and this decor was the perfect backdrop to celebrate the beautiful mom-to-be! Her husband Sajith, one of the co-founders of @mystic-studios# made sure his team captured her in all her beauty and the decor accentuated it even further. It was a day filled with unconditional love, good wishes and positivity!
