With the right amount of makeup, hairdo, clothing and everything queuing in accordance with the vibe of the moment, this wedding is surely one of our favourites. Bride Dharshini Rajkumar with her most welcoming smile and the groom with his macho-ish attitude have had the guests in the wedding at awe. The jewellery of a bride needs a special mention. With utmost care and precision, she had done a great work behind the scenes in making her big day look really inspiring. Going the eco-friendly way with the decors, @flora-wedding-planners#, Coimbatore had rendered a great job in using all things pertaining to the welfare of nature.
Dharshini Rajkumar, the mesmerizing bride of the day had a scintillating wedding in the month of June and is very much brimming with excitement as she shares her prep up story for the big day with Shopzters.
Shopping for my wedding was a huge task with regard to the purchase of outfits. My husband’s sherwani was from @manyavar#, Coimbatore and he looked absolutely macho in it. For my muhurtham and reception, I purchased sarees from @varamahalakshmi-silks#, Kancheepuram. I was absolutely in love with all my blouses. My muhurtham and reception blouses were designed by Pankajakka of @anya-where-tradition-meets-fashionclothing#, Coimbatore who did an amazing job. All the other blouses were designed by Mrs.Divya, Kuts ‘n’ Knots, Coimbatore.
My engagement lehenga was from seasons, Mumbai and all the other gowns I wore were designed by Rohit-Bal and Keshma.
As far as jewellery were concerned, the temple jewellery that I wore for muhurtham was purchased from @sumangali-jewellersshoppingretail#, Coimbatore, the diamond jewellery set for my reception was designed by Ankitgelani, Mumbai. Whereas the jewellery I wore on my engagement day was from Vidhyaas, Coimbatore and some of the jewellery for the other little events were from Big Shop, ooty.
I wouldn’t have looked absolutely gorgeous if not for Tamilselvi aunty, who also happens to be my mother’s best friend. She travelled all the way just for me and made sure that I was dolled-up on my big day.
Capturing and making new memories, as the name suggests @the-memory-writers# made my wedding look extra-ordinary from behind the lens and I couldn’t thank them enough for their service.
@flora-wedding-planners#, Coimbatore were the team behind all the beautiful backdrops and decorations. The team proved their mettle by being very patient, attentive and supportive to our ideas and discussions. They kept their promise to be available to our needs and met us promptly when called. All the backdrop and decorations were alluring. We had decided to go the eco-friendly way and liked how they brought together all the elements that were trendy yet traditional. Their work was very satisfying.
What’s a wedding without a dash of some traditional music? Classical music entertainment was rendered by Kalaimamani Dr.Nithyashree Mahadevan and her troupe. Also, we had a Nathaswaram rendition by Meenakshi Sundaram and troupe.
The plates were decorated by @saangyas-decorator#, Coimbatore having had a good theme in it.
Krishnakumar from Madhampatty catered for our wedding. He took special care on every food item that was served and I must admit that the food tasted very good. I can also assure that everyone who had attended my wedding went home with a heavy tummy.
