Meeting of Hearts - An Adorable Bangalore Wedding

From their beautiful smiles to the innocence that radiated off the bride, we finally found a couple who made our hearts go ‘Awww’. Watching them complement each other in ways that fairy tales are made off, we decided to cover an adorable wedding story.

On May 9th, Pavithra Gowda and Nayan Gowda tied the knot in a temple wedding ceremony where the groom's side was in orange and the bride's side sported purple attire. The highlight according to Pavithra was the peacock Doli on the wedding day.

This couple's meeting was arranged but Pavithra was sure, "We are meant to be," she said. They spent about forty five minutes discussing their future together and couldn't be surer that they would be happy together.

They confirmed the wedding on February 17th and were engaged in about a month on March 20th. Despite being fast, the ceremonies went well and were executed properly, says Pavithra.

The mehendi was held on 6th May morning with a green and yellow theme and the Sangeet in the evening, both at Temple Tree Leisure.

Pavithra designed her own clothes for the mehendi and Sangeet with the help of her designer, Deepa who did an excellent work making Pavithra feel unique.

For the wedding day, Pavithra's saree was from Kanchi silks where she found an elaborate collection and Nayan's outfit was from Manyavar, a go-to for all occasions.

The couple had a temple wedding on the 9th of May at the Adichunchungiri temple, followed by a haldi and lagna shasthra at home on 8th may.

On 13th May, they held their reception at the grand castle palace grounds. The elegant and exclusive flower decorations were done by Raju for the events, the couple was very satisfied with the results.

However, out of everybody who was a part of the wedding, Pavithra was in awe of her make-up artist, @makeup-by-vejetha-anand#, who she fondly calls her “Doll-Maker” for making her look flawless on her wedding day.

According to Pavithra, the most memorable moment was on the wedding day when they had the pick rings for each other from a pot of water and she was the first to pick the ring.

The picture capturing this beautiful moment was displayed at the reception, thanks to the work of her talented and innovative photographer Kabir Gowda (@kabir-photography#) who did both the pre-wedding and wedding shoots.

Speaking of the reception, the theme of their reception was rather intriguing. They had photo frames throughout the venue, displaying pictures from their pre-wedding shoot as well as the engagement.

The pre-wedding shoot of the couple was at the Nandi Temple and Prestige golfshire club. Clips from the shoot were also used in the Wedding video invite, an interesting idea which other brides can pick up from.

To take care of her skin and pamper herself before the special day, she took a package at Body craft. The package included body scrub, body polishing, hair spas and regular facials to give her the bridal glow, which really helped her have a healthier skin for the wedding.

The couple plans on taking a short trip to Orange County, Coorg and a beautiful vacation to either Greece or New Zealand next month.
