The Telugu Sisters Who Made Us All Teary Eyed Are Here To Share The Wedding Story
Remember the telugu sisters Tejaswi and Ujjwala who made us emotional? Their video that portrayed their infinite love for each other garnered a lot of attention in our site and became viral. This time, they are here to share the wedding story.
Tejaswi and Prithvi met in college many years ago, as college students. They got married in December 2016. Both of them work as engineers in USA but somehow managed to pull of an efficiently planned grand wedding ceremony in Hyderabad. Here is their story as told by Tejaswi.
I never believed in fairy tales and happily ever afters. I did not believe in Prince Charming either until I met my husband! I'm not exaggerating, he is my Prince Charming! To begin with, when we first met, I had no idea Prithvi would be so important to me. We met in college back in 2007. We had lot of memories cherished with our group of friends and I would call it the best days of my life. Our parents got together and we were all excited for the big celebration of our love.
As we were working abroad we dint have enough time to spend on shopping. We still managed to shop with the help of my sister and friend's suggestions. All my sarees are from Sai Kanchi and @varamahalakshmi-silks#, Hyderabad. They got the best collection for brides.
I got my Jewellery from Sri Bhavani Jewellers, Himayat Nagar. They have variety of jeweler designs that you cannot decide on one itself. ;) My Sangeet Lehenga is from @neerus-indiaclothing# Banjara Hills and Reception Lehenga is from @mebazclothing#, Banjara Hills. My sister got her lehenga done with Geethika Kanumili and she did amazing job. We collected few blouse designs online and we got it done for all the sarees. They turned out to be amazing.
I got my Mehendi gown from Nordstorm (store in USA). Pelli poola jada did my Flower jewellery and poola jada. With one of my friends suggestion, we called mehendi artists from Inorbit mall and they did a fantastic job. Prithvi got all his indo western and traditional suits from @manyavar#. His Reception outfit is from Park Avenue. My sister is like my designer and helped me big time to decide which goes well on what.
We started our wedding celebrations with Sangeet. This was week before the wedding. We booked Chiran Fort and that was best choice we made for sangeet. We wanted to do Sangeet like an outdoor event and Chiran Fort is the best choice which is in the middle of the City. Decor was simple and elegant, but looked grand.
We had a grand entry with the sparkles. We made a great choice having @kishore-krishnamoorthy# and Visualeyes videos for Photography and Videography respectively. They did an amazing job. Make up for Sangeet, PelliKuturu and Reception were done by Sunitha Caringula. She did a great job and make up looked very elegant.
Our wedding was at PMR convention Nagole. My wedding make up was done by Edward Siro of @siro-make-up-studio#. Edward is a perfectionist at his work and everybody loved my traditional wedding make up. Our wedding decor was done by Balu (decorator associated with the venue) We had an amazing mandapam with hanging parrots. Our wedding Reception was at JRC convention.
On the whole, we were satisfied by the choices we made to make this wedding memorable.
To celebrate our wedding we went to Maldives for Honeymoon. Its like a paradise on earth. We went for four days to Vakarufalhi Island Resort, lived on over the water villa, had a private dinner on the shore, long walks around the island, great food and amazing cocktails. the experience was great. Island has water activities like snorkeling, scuba diving, sunset boat rides, whale watching and lots more. We had an amazing time at the island.
