Janani our pretty bride tells us her story of how she believed in love once she met the right person.
Ours was an arranged marriage. My husband Balaji works in Cognizant, California and I was with the same company but in Coimbatore. Actually our meeting was with an intermediate. It was nothing other than hangouts. Thanks to Google. Like most people I was really nervous about meeting him in person for the first time, hardly did I realize that this was the first step to our journey together. Initially it was a big No from my end because I was totally against love. The other reason being my parents were on a look out for a groom for quite some time and so I decided not to hook up with anyone. This being a big reason I was giving him no hopes. Actually I didn’t respond anything at our first so called social meet .And then the families played very important role .They started planning for the" Uruthi varthai " on February 1, 2017. He was very confident in his decision of choosing me. But I wanted to meet him personally and then decide. The day I met him January 29, 2017 the magic happened. I loved the way he expressed his thoughts towards me. I fell in love right there. Soon they fixed the dates for our Engagement and then for our Wedding.
As soon as the dates were fixed, he being An American mapilai didn’t really have to plan anything for the wedding. But this was a big advantage for me because I could put in all my thoughts and plan the day in my style. I have to mention "Shopzters" played vital role in my wedding. I had all guidance from them and I have to thank Prasitha for being so patient and clearing all doubts for the wedding arrangements. I had my Uruthi Varthai which happened in Vijay Park Inn, Ramnagar,Coimbatore. I planned a simple decor and arrangements for this.

We had Engagement ceremony on May 28,2017 in d morning and Reception on the same day evening
Wedding on May 29,2017 two day event was held in Venkatalakshmi Kalyana Mandapam, Coimbatore
Food : Mathampatti Nagaraj, he s been our family friend , he has done for my sister’s wedding , so we were very confident in giving d major responsibility to him.
Makeup : Makeup artist Divya, believe me she has done wonderful job. She has some magic in her hands and u can seriously trust her on that. Mine is a sensitive skin but had no rashes or allergies after all.Thank you once again Divya
Backdrop: It was done by Tharuga Vaneshwaran whom I knew through my friend .It was a grand decor with the right budget. He never says a no for our ideas.
Got my Sarees & his Dhoti from Shreedevi Textiles, Coimbatore. This is our sentimental outlet of purchase. He got his suit from Louis phillippe, Coimbatore
Jewels are from @karpagam-jewellersjewelrywatches# and some are from my dad's friend Muniraj who does exotic tempting jewellery patterns of our choice.
For good party wedges I was recommended Mochi, Brookfields , it has wonderful collection for both .
I rented my hair accessories from Priya's, Gandhipuram Coimbatore
They have wonderful collections which matches the jewellery we wear.
We had plate decorations and return thambulam from Sai decorators, Coimbatore. I had never seen such decorations so far. They had a lovely theme in it.
