@vithya-hair-and-make-up-artist# is a make-up artist from London and when we came across her work recently, we totally fell in love with it! Apart from doing make-up for brides, Vithya is also known to do photoshoots for looks that are chic, that are a mix of traditional and modern and also full on modern. Her images here are an ode to that!
Thanks to her qualification at the London College of Fashion, and also having worked and trained at M.A.C Cosmetics for nearly three years, her extensive kit contains only the best products of high quality! Here are 4 distinct looks sported by her just for you.
Look 1
Kanjeevaram Saree’s are one of those things that need very little to add on to their look. They are the showstoppers afterall! Wear a Kanjeevaram in colors of orange, green and shades of black, you’ve got a winner in your hands! So to not over-do the look, she has added a beautiful Nethi Chuti, a Haaram, a nose ring and two Kada’s. A semi – smoky eye and beautiful orange on the lips, and of course, the jasmine flowers! The look is perfect!

This looks more of a ‘Feisty Royal Princess’ look! We love the deep crimson red high neck gown she is wearing. The jewellery is to the point, very classic, yet youthful. How she’s adorned one hand with just an over-sized ring is a must do style tip for everyone! For her make-up, she’s chosen a similar shade for her lips, and bronze makeup to highlight the brown of her eyes! Lovely!

Ooh! We love this one! Very chic, yet traditional too. A flimsy shirt and high waist flowy skirt is all flirty, but it’s taken up a notch thanks to the two different chokers she is seen wearing and also that dazzling Chandra Haaram! Do check out her modern finger rings, and assortment of bangles, they are super trendy! For make-up, she has gone light, highlighting just her eyes, which are striking!

The Contemporary woman! An all-black Saree, a feminine off shoulder blouse, and a stunning choker! The blouse gives the look a different appeal; it’s making it look more like a gown, rather than a saree. It keeps us guessing and that’s the appeal! As I said earlier, her jewellery is something we cannot take our eyes off of, and since one has to be careful with an all-black ensemble, she’s chosen nude lipstick and smoky cat eye makeup for her eyes! Purr-fect we say!
