For The Love Of All Things Bright And Vivid - Decor Inspirations From Our Real Bride Reshma's Wedding!

Reshma Singh, one of Shopzters beautiful brides, (You can read her wedding story here) had some of the best decorations for her big day. She happens to be a person who loves all things bright and hence chose the idea of doing something bright and unique. With that in mind and not to over-do the events with too many flowers, she incorporated a lot of paper imported from China for the backdrop. Also, each and every element that served the decoration purposes on her engagement day was imported from China.

Traditional theme for the wedding with white and red flowers and the set design in gold. For the reception, it was shades of purple and green. Matching the couple’s wedding wardrobe with the décor was the ultimate motto.

A rosy photo-booth and a swing for the Mehendi, rose petals theme for the bridal ceremony and a purple theme for the chapra and the entrance door.

Every little detail that made the décor speaks for itself. Nevertheless, everything looks so fresh and fragrant.

Mehendi

Since it’s a fun event chose bright colours n had a rosy Photo booth and a swing which should be a NEVER MISS FACTOR for a mehendi event

Bridal ceremony

I wanted it to look sober since it’s an event at home so chose a rose petals theme & the event planner suggested the purple theme for the chapra n the entrance door

Engagement

I am a person who loves bright colours and for my engagement wanted to avoid usage of lot of flowers  so my entire backdrop was down with paper imported from China

Each and every element for the wedding was imported from China

Muhurtham

Ideally my main theme for murhurtham was to look completely traditional

what can beat Gold mandaps and white n red flowers

The whole set up was in gold colour

The Gowri Pooja was set up wit a lot of colourful element

Reception

In terms of the reception I wanted the theme to play with diffenrent shades of one colour so I chose shades of purple background n added a Green element to avoid the boring flower beds n complimented with a fusion look

My main MOTO was to match my wedding wadrobe with the decor
