Photography of the month - January'14!!!!

Ever met 2 young men who have been extremely hard working and passionate about what they love?! Well, here's your chance! Meet Vikas and Ajay of ZG Studios, the talented duo! Very happy to feature Zero Gravity Studios as the Photography of the month! 
Established in late 2012, Zero Gravity Studios is a Chennai-based Photography Studio specialising in Wedding Photography. It was started by Vikas and Ajay, who are obsessed with telling the best wedding stories by combining state-of-the-art technology with creativity to make that happen.
Vikas was a software engineer at Accenture before he realised his love for photography. "I had just met with an accident and was in a post accident depression phase. I was inspired by a photographer Alan Varghese and when my company gave me an insurance for 40k, I knew what I had to do! Yes! I got a Canon 550D camera with that! 
Then I started working as an assistant for a commercial photographers Jay & Mano. That is where I started learning lighting, camera skills, photography style etc. It was a great chance for me to learn all about fashion and life style photography. That's when I met Ajay over Facebook. He was also a fashion photographer and we had common interests and both of us had the passion to do something big! Thus evolved ZG.
Our friend Prabu (Owner of Base2.in) was owning the web domain"0gravity.in" and we got it from him! Ajay also liked the name. We did our first commercial shoot under Zero Gravity banner in December 2012 and by December 2013, we successfully completed 150 assignments."
Meanwhile, Ajay started doing photography assignments while doing engineering. "I used to pay my college fees with whatever I earned through photography from 2nd year onwards. While in my final year of college, I got admissions to get into the University of California. But I wanted to follow my dreams in photography and hence didn't wanna leave India.
That's when I met Vikas! Initially, we struggled a lot. It was not at all easy for us. We have done lots of hard work to bring it to the level where ZG is now!
We have our own brand style. Our speciality is our couple portraits! We make sure that they feel like the hero and heroine! Bring out that oozing romance and make them feel special by living that moment. We believe romance is the essence of any couple portrait! That's the trick we follow to get the best pics!
Weddings are easily one of the most festive and exuberant celebrations in India, and we love tackling the mammoth task of shooting weddings. While doing wedding photography, we do not disturb anyone! We silently watch the event and capture the precious moments in the perfect frames! No two weddings are the same. Based on your needs and liking we will come up with a package that is authentic to you.
We completely believe in team work! Hence we have evolved with the name Team ZG now. Both of us always feel the recognition should go to the entire team and not just us. As of today, we have successfully completed 350 assignments including weddings, couple portraits, commercials and other events.
We have a big production house in T Nagar with over 25 members. We take care of end to end client deliverables. Currently we are setting up offices in Hyderabad and Bangalore and we are looking for young and energetic professionals to join our team. So, get in touch with us if you are interested!
