Ram and Amrita's Engagement - The Moroccan Themed Love Affair!
A fun evening with close family and friends are what Engagements are all about these days! What makes this one different is its Moroccan theme that's beautifully captured by Sriram Raghu Photography! The ambience is otherworldly yet super fun, thanks to the quirky usage of props and photographs. The combination of Pink-Purple and orange is gorgeous and the usage of multi-coloured hangings just adds to the magic! Now that the ambience is done with, let's get into the heart of this story, the bride and her groom!
Amritha and Ramkumar met through their parents, and even after a slightly reluctant beginning, they went on their first date to Krispy Kreme, Bangalore. As they got talking to each other, they discovered similar tastes and lifestyles!
After several long distance calls and couple trips together, they knew they were made for each other, the engagement was fixed!
Amritha is seen wearing a trendy combination of bright yellow and pretty blue. The lotus thread work on the blouse is perfect for this old school look. The Saree was bought from a hand-loom fair in Coimbatore and the blouse was done by Shameena, Chennai.
Ram complemented his beautiful fiance by teaming a yellow kurta with a bluish grey jacket! It's very suave and was from Fab India. She chose to wear a Temple Haaram, beautiful Jhumkas a dozen bangles on each hand, keeping the look very youthful, feminine and retro! She did the Make-up herself and it couldn't have been better! Amritha went with Malabar Gold for her Jewellery.
The couple changed to the colours of Pink, Orange and Purple soon after. Amritha went with a pink and orange, while Ram went with a purple kurta. Amritha went to Sundari Silks and Ram stuck onto Fab India for their clothing.
The Moroccan Decor was done by '@pink-parrots#' and the engagement itself took place at 'The Green Park' hotel.
What followed the engagement was three hours of fun photoshoot and that's pretty apparent in all these amazing pictures!
All in all, this Moroccan Love Affair was quaint and quirky, full of love and laughter and fun!
