One of the most chirpiest couple, Naveen and Keerthana, met at a typical South-Indian arranged marriage setting with their astrology and horoscopes matching perfectly (we kid you not!) Naveen, as he speaks to Shopzters unravels the story to finding his one true love, Keerthana.
“Keerthana’s father (aka my father-in-law) happens to be my father’s best friend for years together. Our families knew each other, although I never have met Keerthana before. It was on the 31st of March that we first met at a temple and everything fell in place since then. It felt like we’ve renewed the love that was already within us.
We had three events. Our Sangeeth was on the 13th of September. The reception was on the 14th and the wedding on the 15thof September respectively.
SANGEETH OUTFITS
I wore a long Kurta with a bandi which was from @manyavar#, Chennai. She wore a purple with cream lehenga which was from @kay-the-fashion-bay#, Chennai. The bottom of her lehenga matched my top-wear so well.
RECEPTION AND WEDDING OUTFITS
All her sarees for the reception and the wedding were from @varamahalakshmi-silks#, Kanchipuram. My silk shirt and dhothi were from Kanchipuram as well. My suit for the reception was designed by Gibran, a former actor and a wedding suit designer now at Hassan Studio, KNK Road, Chennai.Her blouse and the embroidery works on my silk shirt were custom-made by a designer in Coimbatore at Smrithis.
All her jewelllery were from @suman-jewellery# and @sumangali-jewellersshoppingretail# jewelry in Coimbatore. Her makeup was done by @bronzer-bridal-makeup-artist# . Needless to say, she rendered a flawless look and Keerthana loved how she looked in all the outfits and looks. I am not a person who is fond of makeup. But, Noor’s assistant Prabhu did my makeup and I must say, he made me feel comfortable and I did not look odd.
Photography was taken over by @vipin#. He was a mutual friend of mine and since the day we started planning for the wedding, he was our unanimous choice. The moment we approached him he booked our slot and committed to be on time. He sure did keep up his word and the pictures have turned out to be really impressive.
Lakshmi Catering Service from Madhampatti catered for our events and a person called Gandhi from @shiga-petals# took over the decors.
Keerthana is a face pack junkie. She prefers using body shop products and kept herself packed with tea-tree and neem products for a glowing and healthy skin.
