Chandni's wedding happened in Rishikesh - at "Divine Resort" on - 26th november 2015. A very small wedding with only 80-100 guests.

Initially when we started looking for a venue, I didn't know where I want to get married but I knew exactly where I don't want to get married and that is Delhi. I didn't want one of those cliched marriages in a farm house or a resort and specially a night wedding where baraat reaches the venue at 1 am because of the traffic jam and the bride and groom fall asleep during the mandap ceremony. I wanted a very close and personal wedding and I wanted everyone to enjoy and relax and not get stressed as you know a wedding can be a very tiring and stressful process. I was looking for a place with character so i knew it will be a destination wedding. My mother in law came up with this idea of Rishikesh, we went there and found this beautiful resort called Divine Resort with a breath-taking view and a beautiful backdrop. I could visualize my wedding right there with the mountains and the Ganges in the background and the sound of Ganges in sync with the mantras and the bells. I knew I have found the place. What better than having The holy ganga present at your wedding. So this is how we chose Rishikesh.
