A Glam Hyderabadi Wedding With Stunning Outfits
We at Shopzters love couples who experiment and have little things that set them apart from the rest. We found one such couple, who managed to match at almost all their functions, creating an element that put their bond on display. Not just that, this was accompanied by some amazing candid couple shots that tempted us to bring you this story.
The bride and groom are both currently living in the US, where Meghana works for a tech company and her husband is pursuing his higher studies. Like most Indian weddings, golden was one of the predominant colours at the functions that took place.
The Mehendi saw a splash of colours from green to pink, with floral prints. Accompanied by a simple backdrop of bold colours and fresh flowers.
The bride’s real flower jewellery stole our heart with its delicacy and femininity, especially the flower tiara that made her seem like a bohemian princess. The intricate designs adorning the bride’s hands were courtesy of the mehendi artist, Jigna from Hyderabad.
Meghana decided to get Kanchi pattu sarees for most of her events. So she went down to Kanchi to do her wedding shopping accompanied by her mother, mother in law and her sister who helped her in picking the right outfits.
Her blouses and dresses are from various boutiques from across Hyderabad, she also scouted some exhibitions in Hyderabad for unique and customised designs. Most of the bride’s jewellery is antique and has an emotional connection. Purchases over the years from different stores including Tibarumal jewellers on Rd 10 Banjara hills.
The makeup was done by different artists for each occasion from Sunitha from Soul Parlour, Sandy Artistry, to Sreenu who is an integral artist in the film industry. Her make-up at most functions was kept subtle with hints of golden, with a bold lip which got all the attention without seeming over the top.
The décor for the wedding was kept extremely traditional despite the use of modern decoration concepts, the use of green and golden with peacock motifs really bought the stage to life. Accompanied by the lotus shaped golden carving and floral decorations that adorned the grand entrance.
Photography was done by Story by @story-by-dharma-tej# from Hyderabad who captured every moment of the wedding with exception, never missing a detail. They also did the videography of the events and quirky photoshoots with pluck cards as props with the bride’s side of the family.
