Gatsby collections, Chennai caters for all the men’s wear needs. We cater for both business and for your big wedding day needs. In the field of Business, sharp cut suits with interesting silhouettes, peak label jackets with one break formal trousers are the trend. As far as weddings are concerned, there is a very large room to play with. Since men these days are open to so many ideas and suggestions put forth by us, it has always been at our harmony when it comes to designing a wedding suit. Since the colour black is considered to be a not very auspicious one, we majorly look on incorporating a lot of greys and royal blues. It is not our way to do matchy-matchy outfits but rather we do suits that compliment what the bride’s been wearing. When the bride is wearing a maroon outfit, we try to compliment the groom with the usage of beige, creams and nudes. When it’s a green and purple, we funk it up with greys and other such subtle shades.
With regard to weddings, we do a lot of ethnic Sherwanis for the big day, Half-waist kurtis and Bandhgalas for Sangeets and cocktails, Tuxedos for the receptions and suits for grooms-men as well. We use pure and interesting fabrics on all of these suits.
With a set of very trained professional tailors who undergo training sessions every now and then and with the incorporation of only high end, hand-picked premium fabrics all the way from Italy, Gatsby collections offers a varied range of variety suits.
We had loads of fun working for the Cricketer Dinesh Karthick’s Christian wedding’s groom’s wear. We custom-made a tuxedo for him and for his nine grooms-men as well. We managed to incorporate their wedding logo in the suits of the nine grooms-men and it was very easy working with Dinesh and was a lot more fun experimenting on fabrics.
A traditional attire we loved working for was that of Shantanu Bhagyaraj’s reception. We had made a constellation Sherwani for him in a midnight blue shade with Zari and Kardana techniques. It had a very vibrant and classy look, complimenting his wife’s outfit.
We also cater for a number of NRI customers who have been loyalists to the brand over the years. With the help of our internet portal, these people working across seas order their suits with the desired fabrics and we have them shipped and delivered. Touchwood, we haven’t come across any sort of miss-haps and we wish not to encounter any in the future as well.
