Shopzters Exclusive- Insider Details of Soundarya Rajnikanth’s Muhurtham Décor!

The Soundarya Rajnikanth-Vishagan Vanangamudi wedding sure took social media by storm and we are still hungover from all the beautiful photos the family and photographers released from the gorgeous fairytale affair!

As enamoured as we were by their adorable chemistry, it was also the backdrop it was set against, that caught our eye! Every occasion was personally designed, customized and executed by Soundarya’s aunts- Lakshmi Ravichander and Saraswathy Krishnakumar, who led their amazing team at @event-art# to put together this dream wedding.

The Muhurtham décor, in particular, was a pastel paradise and stole the show! It was a traditional setup with an English twist.

The entire décor seemed to be inspired by colours of the cherry blossom tree but with a touch of indo-ethnic flavor. Ombre was the running theme throughout the décor and it was an element that found its way translating to even the bride-groom garlands! The focal point of the stage backdrop was a beautiful painting of Shiva-Parvathi, the eternal symbol of love and marital bliss. The stage was decked up with a beautiful standalone mantap, decorated with fresh dewy flowers. The backdrop was a vision, filled with long ombre ladees of flowers ranging from light shades of off-white to dark pink placed at different heights to create a sense of rhythm to the look and honestly, the photos do not do justice to how beautiful it looked in person!

The guests were all praise for the décor and even the top architects and designers who attended the wedding could not stop raving about it! When speaking to Saraswathy ma’am and Lakshmi ma’am, both beamed with joy about how satisfying the experience of planning and designing a family wedding was! It was even more fulfilling when the newlyweds too could not stop talking about their fabulous decor!
