For our team at @the-event-tale#, it has been a crazy couple of months considering that we got to work on some pretty amazing projects! And one, that was truly close to our hearts was the three-day resort wedding at Radisson Blu Temple Bay, Mahabalipuram. It was special to us in more ways than one but primarily because it was our very first destination wedding and we took care of everything right from the invitations, room hampers, planning, designing, decor execution right up to the return gifts! Post the high-tea, the guests were asked to move to the Main Hall for the Sangeet celebrations. As the guests made a beeline for it, they were first met with a large old-Bollywood style Bulb arch, flanked by our welcome boards on either side. This by itself was a photo op and everyone dressed to the nines clicked lots of photos right at the entrance.
The Sangeet then began in full swing, hosted by a popular Bangalore emcee who made sure the tempo and energy remained high throughout the night. The stage was set with a HUGE LED screen, lit on either side with candlelight stands and fairy lights.
In front of the stage was a gorgeous multi-coloured dance floor, ready and set for the guests to unleash their inner Michael Jackson and Prabhu Deva moves! It was so much fun seeing the guests singing and dancing and partying like there was no tomorrow!
It was surprising to see it was the above 50 crowd who were giving the youngsters some serious competition on the dance floor! There were ramp walks by the men, the couples and the kids, competitions between the groom's side and the bride's side and of course a super-fun couple dance!
Our photographers made sure they captured all of this in candid glory. All in all, the guests can't stop gushing about the fabulous sangeet even until today! Beautiful memories framed for a lifetime!
