An Uber Stylish Telugu Wedding With The Bride in Gold

We at Shopzters have had the honour of featuring Sharmila and Anurag's engagement story that was such a delight to even think of. Here we are again, over-joyed to feature her beautiful wedding story as well.

Let's hear it from the very beautiful and very friendly bride, Sharmila herself.

"Our wedding was destined to be on the 29th of November, 2017 in Chennai and the reception was set to be on the 4th of December in Hyderabad.

We had a Mehndi, the Pellikoduku, the vradham, the muhurtham and the reception.

For the Mehndi I wore a gown from Clove, Bangalore and I had done the makeup myself.

For the wedding, my saree was from @prakashsilksandsarees#, Kanchipuram. Since I was always fond of temple borders I went for the collections that they had and absolutely loved them.

My makeup was by Samantha Jagan from @wink-unisex-salon# and I loved how I looked that day. 

Decoration purposes were taken care of by @marriage-colours#. Mahesh and Pradeep sat with us and guided us through the needs and helped us choose the hotel as well. 

Photography needs were taken care of by @studio-a#. I must admit that I received the entire set of pictures the next day after the event and was so happy to look at all those candid memories. I am forever thankful to the team for that.

My blouses were designed by @dsignd#, Thiruvanmiyur. I had given them samples from pinterest and they executed them so well.

All my traditional antique jewelry were from Vummidi Bangaru, Chennai. Since I was fond of temple jewelry, I loved their collection for the same. We've been loyal customers for this store for over 20 years now.

My necklace was an original antique piece and my gold belt along with the armlet were designed by our family's jeweler.

The reception took place at the Westin, Hyderabad. 

My lehenga was customised according to the pastel theme I had in mind at Aashirvad, Hyderabad. I must admit that all my expectations were fulfilled there.

The diamond set gifted to me by Anurag's family was from Malabar, Chennai.

My makeup was by @tamanna-makeup-studio# and needless to say, I loved my look.

All events apart from the wedding, the photography needs were taken care of by @the-con-artists#, who are based in Pune. They covered even the tiniest of details and we loved all the pictures.

All of Anurag's silk outfits were from @tulsi-silks-1# and his suit was designed at @gabbana-life# by Usman.

I did go for some facials and mild chemical peelings at @wink-unisex-salon# By Samantha Jagan and I loved all those services.

Post wedding, we went on a honeymoon to Bali and did a lot of trekking and other such similar activities.
