A Tambrahm Love Story That Took Off Towards The U.S And Landed Down In India
A love story that bloomed between two IT professionals while being batchmates. A story of saraswathi Sneha and Gopalakrishnan who were UG batchmates back in Coimbatore. Knowing each other and never been able to speak to each other for a very long time, Sneha approached Gopalakrishnan for advise on taking up masters in the US and thus bloomed a magical love story.
Let's hear it from the beautiful bride herself.
"While i seeked him for advise, i liked the way we connected and we thought that we should take things further. We immediately approached our parents and they took everything ahead for us. Once bot of us settles in life, e set to get married to each other.
Everything was finalized and we were destined to get married on 30th November, 2017.
Ours was a typical Tambrahm wedding with quite a number of events pre-wedding.
For the vradham, I wore a peacock green saree from RMKV. My makeup was by Gowri from Toni & Guy. Jewelry were from Swarnam Bridal Collection, Prudhs.
My initial engagement saree was from @rmkv#. My second saree was from Sri Devi, Coimbatore.
For my reception I chose a pink lehenga from @mokshaa# and his suit was from the U.S.
For the oonjal i wore a peacock blue saree from @rmkv# and my makeup was by @professional-makeup-artist-divya#.
For the muhurtham i wore a flashy koorai pattu from @nalli-silks#. It was a proper arakku colour.
All our photography needs were taken care of by @jeevan-wedding-arts#. They did a very good job.
All my makeup needs were amazingly fulfilled. Both Divya and Gowri did a great job.
All of my husband's makeup needs were by Muthu from Toni & Guy.
All my blouses were designed by Oxalis, Coimbatore. The works were stunning. The works and embroidery were outstanding. Since i wasn't here in India all the communication were through whatsapp. Although they gave me a perfect fit even 10 days before the wedding.
Decorations were by @vivahhika#. Needless to say, Murali anna did an amazing job. He is a senior in college and so it was easy for me to work with him. My wedding decor had a very traditional touch and was classy and loved by all. While the reception had a pink plush theme that was astounding.
3 months prior to the wedding i worked out a lot. I ate well and did not stress myself one bit. All brides should make it a point to be stress-free and be happy at all times. Eat as much as you want and work it all out.
We decided to tour around places in India since both of us live off India. We set out to Munaar and Thekkedy and stayed at a resort called Spice Tree. It was a private pool villa and the package was great.
