Hi everyone I am Varsha and I work as a network engineer in Melbourne and my husband Ram is a research scientist in Melbourne too.Ram is from Vishakhapatnam and I am from Chennai. We both went to Southampton, UK to pursue our Master’s degree. We happened to meet each other in a Diwali pooja organised by our mutual friend. That’s when the sparks happened and from the beginning we knew this was way more than friendship.Later Ram moved to Melbourne as he had an offer to do a Phd and I decided to move there and look for a job. Things turned out to be good and now #VRTogther and we are happily married.
When it came to planning for my wedding I hardly had anytime. I had to plan and decide everything in 3months. It was all quick. But in this short time, I made sure I found the best vendors to help me with my wedding. I flew back to Chennai for a week to finalize the venue and vendors. I did most of my shopping in Chennai with my mom and dad and Ram matched his outfits with mine once my shopping was done.
Haldi, Mehendi, Sangeet and Reception was organised in Chennai. Muhurtham was in Vishakhapatnam and it was traditional telugu style wedding. The wedding celebrations went on for a week which involved a lot of travelling. I take this as an opportunity to thank all my family members and my friends who helped me plan and organise my big day and also for taking part and making my day very special. I would also like to do a special mention to Shopzters because I was fully dependent on this site to choose the vendors for my big day.
