Every Wedding Story is special and beautiful in its own way. For some people things fall into place in no time, for some its quite a long wait, for some things fall perfectly in place that all they want to do is thank their stars because, their love was worth the wait! Here is Divya with her beautiful Wedding Story, a long wait, but worth every minute.
Krishna and I got married on June 11th 2015 just after my birthday on June 10th, at ITC GrandChola, Guindy Chennai. Ours was an arranged marriage. We first met on March 1st and got engaged on April 15th.
For both of us it was a long wait to find the right soul mate. Being the only daughter my parents wanted us to have a unique, grand and the best wedding celebration, fulfilling all my wishes starting from the invitation cards to the Wedding Thank you gifts. I love my parents for that!
My husband (now) and I started talking over the phone only after the engagement. It started with a common interest of designing our wedding invites.
We had designed mething like a Photo Invite, very simple but very cute! All credits goes to my husband who designed every Pixel of that card. Thanks to Shubh Cards for being very kind and helping bring our ideas to life. Special thanks to Karthick PSK of @foton# who was able to take up our last minute request for a shoot in between his busy schedule. We received lot of compliments on the autifully designed invites.
I would also like to give credits to the people who made our dream wedding event a grand success and a long awaited dream come true. Our first thanks to God and our parents.
It was a very short time for me to plan and shop for the Engagement, Wedding and the Reception all at the same time. But organizing and scheduling things the right way, did help me pull through on time.A tasty looking cake for the engagement.. Shopping was quite a task, but I was easily able to find pretty sarees from nowhere other than Kanchipuram Anna Government Society and Babu Shahs.
Fell in love with the collection at Moksha, from where I got my Reception Dress .
Jewelry from Tanishq, Nathella Sampathu Chetty Jewellers and JCS made my shopping process more fun and complete. Found some classy Accessories at Pothy's Jewellery and Sonal Jewellery in TNagar.My make-up Artist was @bridal-studio-noor# who has a way with the brides, bringing out the best. Our Photographers were @aa-photography and @foton# (Invitation Photography) and Jolie Dee Photography (Odrida) Post Wedding Shoot.

We had our post wedding shoot was in Paris, France. We really enjoyed the photo shoot where we had to walk through the busy streets of Paris to reach our spot. We had lot of kind people smiling and wishing us. Odrida from Joliee Dee Photography, our friend, was our photographer. She was amazing and gave us a lot of stunning frames.
