The Tale Of Three D’s – Divya, Dhyan and Destiny!
Souls that are meant to be together will always find each other no matter what. Here’s the story of Divya and Dhyan, who used to live across the same street for years together but didn’t meet each other till their cousins decided to play cupid.Destiny played its part once Dhyan moved back to erode - horoscopes were exchanged, the meeting happened and love beckoned Dhyan currently runs a business based out of erode and Divya is a consultant based out of Chennai.
They met during late January and their wedding was fixed on the 10th of July. True to the saying that opposites attract, Divya is quite a chatterbox while Dhyan is a man of few words – love found its way to unite the two souls.The Sangeet was the first event to kick-start the celebrations which was held at Le Royal Meridian, Coimbatore. Dhivya Daniel, a freelance event manager based out of Bangalore did an amazing job in putting the event together. The Sangeet was complete with people from 6-60 shaking a leg, a surprise dance from the groom and loads of games!And how can we forget the painting the groom gifted the bride!! The colourful concoction was done by an artist based out of Kerala. The photo booth excited kids and adults alike, thanks to Pixelcue studios from Chennai.Wedding and Reception happened at Parimalam Mahal, Erode and Mr.Selvan, an art director based out of Chennai did a splendid work with the décor.
The mehandi was done by Ayesha, an exceptionally talented mehandi artiste from Erode.Divya & Dhyan - Wedding Film Coming Soon from Vignesh on Vimeo. The Sangeet lehenga was purchased from Kay, Chennai. The erode reception and wedding saw silk sarees from Kumaran silks, Chennai and Babu Sha, Kanchipuram respectively.The Chennai reception deemed a break from all the traditional wear and Evoluzione, Chennai was the first choice to shop for a beautiful dress. The blouses were done by Studio Bandana Narula, a designer brand based out of Chennai. She’s really good at keeping the work classy and elegant! The Chennai reception was held at MRC, with actors Prabhu and Sivakumar gracing the occasion. Jewellery was bought from EFIF diamonds, Vummudi Bangaru Jewellers, Big Shop, Ooty and Vishwa & Devji, Chennai – true to the words that no one shop can satisfy a woman’s Jewellery needs! Makeup was done for all the functions except the Chennai reception by Ansari, who is new on the block but the bride swears that he’s the best ever! Makeup for the Chennai reception was done by Shabas.
Catering was by Hari Caterers, Erode for all the functions and the food was well-appreciated! Karthick Iyer & band enriched the reception with their soul warming music and were a real treat to the ears. The band performed in a huge stage right next to the buffet area, to entertain the guests while devouring scrumptious food. Aadithya of Studio A captured the moments beautifully without a doubt and My Winks did a great job at candid and traditional photography. Hitched – your moments our frames, did the candid video and the whole family recommends them after seeing the first cut wedding trailer! The honeymoon was set at the beautiful water villas of Maldives – a true treat to the eyes. The planning happened well in advance so there wasn’t any last minute hassle with the planning! Also, the bride says that if one doesn’t plan for the honeymoon as soon as the wedding is over it almost never happens!And of course, the bride swears by Shopzters to make any bride-to-be’s life a whole lot easier!
