Just The Perfect Traditional Kids' Outfits You Were Looking For!
There is something stylish and sophisticated about traditional clothes, be it saree, half saree or silk skirts (pattu pavadais). Traditional clothes are made to suit anyone who wears them and they are designed to suit every body type. They look a lot more adorable when worn by little girls whose eyes spark with mischief and laughter. Here is a set of four traditional Indian wear, that are designed with an eye for detail and a delightful mix of class and tradition, modelled by four little adorable kids! This was a really fun shoot that Shopzters had the pleasure of coordinating!
Pattu Pavadai
Pattu pavadais are the go-to dress for any kid who wishes to dress in traditional clothes. This particular pink and pista green piece has a unique detailing of adding two fabrics in its skirt. The blouse has a traditional haram embroidery on the neck. The different fabric matching the skirt on one sleeve adds a trendy twist to the entire ensemble.
This Aquamarine and English rose ensemble is what we call “elegant”. The pretty peplum design in the blouse adds the required contemporary element to the entire dress.
The grey and magenta set is a traditional ensemble with a contemporary twist. The chiffon grey bell sleeve makes the blouse stylish while the beautiful grey brocade with pink motifs beautifully complements it.
Half Saree
The most unique traditional dress of south India is the dhavani or half saree. The pastel coral skirt and blouse perfectly complement the bright green dhavani or dupatta that is lined with the pastel coral border. The entire ensemble is minimal yet chic.
