Engaged To Elegance - A Taj Falaknuma Palace Engagement In Hyderabad
Vineela and Ashish give the good old arrange marriage a modern day twist. In her words, this is how the story goes.It is technically an arranged marriage, he saw my picture and said yes and so we exchanged numbers. We couldn’t meet because he was in Hyderabad and I was working in Dallas, Texas but since our parents did not pressurise us at all, we started dating.Talking for hours, texting, facetime and skype calls became a part of the daily routine. We began talking on 16th September and by November we couldn’t wait to see each other and so he flew to Dallas to see me.Though his trip was short, we spent the five days together. Things got interesting when we were planning to watch a basketball game together and my brother warned me about the kiss-cam that spots couples in crowd and cheers them on to kiss. Surprisingly we got spotted by one, and that was our first kiss.We also went for a trip to San Andreas and made some beautiful memories. From there on we were officially in love, we spoke to our parents and decided to take our relationship forward.I had been working in Dallas for quite some time but I decided that I needed to come back to Vijayawada, India and so I left my old life behind to start a new one with him.
Our engagement was held at Taj Falukanama Palace in Hyderabad and it was something out of a fairy-tale, they also did the catering and we didn’t need any decorations because the palace was gorgeous by itself. The location was pleasant, somewhere you can celebrate! We really loved sharing the moment with our close family and friends.
My Lehenga was from @sabyasachi-hyderabad#, which is every girl’s dream outfit, the fitting was beautiful. I picked up the jewellery from Vasundara Diamond roof which has some exquisite pieces to offer. The make-up was done by Mirror Beauty parlour, they did it in such a way that it stood out in pictures, with the lighting and all it looked flawless.
The photography for the event was done by @archana-wedding-photography#, they are the Ashish's family photographers and they are pretty good. They were very friendly which made us to move comfortably with them and give natural expressions. My favourite moment has to be the exchange of rings because it marked the beginning of a very special journey.
