A Celebrity Wedding Story of Actor Ramesh Thilak And RJ Navalakshmi Rajkumar
How does it feel when you fall in love with a person and choose him as your life partner who started out as being your most deadly enemy? Well, that's the case with Navalakshmi Rajkumar and Ramesh Thilak.
Let's hear it from the chatty bride herself.
"We worked at the same organization, Suryan FM and he was my senior at work. We were pretty much like this Tom and Jerry kind people who just couldn't stand each other. Then came a time when something shook both of us and soon we were like let's get married because we believe that we can't find anyone else better than ourselves for each other.
We, at once moved it to our parents and we were engaged in February 2017.
The wedding was set to be at the Arupadai Murugan temple with just a close circle of friends and family.
We had a Sangeeth that had a "Thiruvizha" theme with the thappu melam for my entry. The place was fully local with kites, tambourines and the like.
My sister Navadevi Rajkumar was of great help to me. I don't think I would have been able to do things without her help. Being a designer who works for the Kollywood industry, she picked out all my outfits and designed most of them herself. She designed my wedding day blouse with Lakshmi coins and with me being a huge fan of elephants, she incorporated those motifs as well.
My sister indeed designed everything for the entire family and she was a huge pillar of support.
I was very particular about having a red and maroon touch to my outfits and my invitations as well.
My wedding saree was a Koorai pattu podavai from @kumaran-silks#. My Sangeeth outfit was from @pothys-boutique# and the reception lehenga was from @mokshaa#.
My wedding makeup was by Ritu, a dear friend of mine. My reception makeup was done by @make-up-ibrahim#.
Photography partners were @p2-click# and Neha Maria Samuel. They did an amazing job.
Decoration purposes were taken care of by Mr. Titus. The floral decorations at our reception were customized according to our likes.
It is always important to be stress-free on your big day. Don't let the stress consume you, rather live in the moment because that is what matters the most."
