Dr. Aarthi Pillai, the daughter of Mr. Ravi Pillai, an NRI Businessman, tied the knot with Dr.Adithya Vishnu on 26th November. No that’s not the ‘NEWS’. The news is that it was a 55 Crore Wedding!! Not that it was all simply crashed on a wedding but every detail was finished to perfection and with thoughtful creative ways.The famous Production Designer who stole millions of hearts with the sets of the movie ‘Bahubali’ was also bringing the place alive by adding colors and breath to every piece of art. Mr.Cyril had also mentioned that it had taken about 75 days for his team of 200 people to set up the place. What’s more? This place is even much bigger that the actual Bahubali sets. Royal Palaces of Rajasthan were brought to life here in Kollam, Kerala. Magnificent as it sounds, adding to the wedding gala was the appearance of some most important people from politics, Chief Minister Oommen Chandy, film stars Mohanlal and Mukesh and even a few members of the royal family from Quwait and Qatar flew in to grace the occasion and wish the couple the best ahead!
The singer Gayathri, the artistic dancer Manju Warrier and the talented Stephen Devassy stole the show with their performances bringing a whole festive mood to the wedding. The stunningly gorgeous Bride and the handsome Groom looked like stars those studded the lovely night! Like we mentioned earlier, not all 55 Crores was randomly thrown away. A gem of a person Mr.Ravi Pillai is also said to have helped with about 10 crores on charity initiatives in Trivandrum and Kollam districts.
